Nothing feels better knowing we at Teddy Treats Children's Charity have managed to organise a trip to Harry Potter studios for a family who really deserve a treat. Special thank you to Seaford Lions Rugby club for providing transport
We are excited after the first idea meeting with the very talented childrens author and illustrator Tammy Clark Knight. It's finally time for Teddy Treats Children's Charity to publish their first ever children's book for primary school children on bullying. Watch this space .... title Brianna Bear
An awesome day of fun and sport in memory of Brianna as her family and community continue to fundraise towards their goal of raising £10,000. Thanks again to Gwen and Andrew Cambridge for another £1,000.00 donation to Teddy Treats.
Thank you to Forward Facing for sharing spaces at the incredible Memory Making Day at the Brighton Dome. What a fantastic treat including dress up, make up, face painting, a photo booth, popcorn and candy floss!
To mark the first Brianna Treat Day we took a group of children to enjoy a production of the Little Mermaid at the Royal Hippodrome Theatre in Eastbourne.
The talented Seaford Musical Theatre Juniors in conjunction with Teddy Treats Children's Charity and CWC, Polegate, hosted another sparkling Just Because party at the Barn Theatre. Featuring the amazing TomFoolery children's entertainer the party put a smile on the faces of children who have or are suffering illness, trauma or bereavement, if only for a little while.
Thank you so much to everyone who has supported Teddy Treats this year by donating money, treats, time, website support, organised raffles, run marathons, and given me encouragement even when I am flagging. Most of all thank you for the love and support within our local community and the willingness to help children and families who need a treat. Brenda xxx
Christmas can be tough on a low income so we've teamed up with local Seaford and Newhaven food banks to provide creative toys for local children this Christmas. Thank you to the Old Boot in Seaford and the New Hope Inn in Newhaven for being drop-off points. We have been totally overwhelmed by how kind and generous people have been which has allowed us to help over 100 local families this Christmas.
Teddy Treats is delighted to announce that we will now be helping children beyond Seaford. Moving forwards we will also be working with kids in Newhaven and the surrounding area.
Thank you so much to Stephanie Watts and her fabulous pupils for supporting Teddy Treats with a raffle at their Inter School competition. The £79 they raised is enough for 8 treats or 8 theatre tickets for local children.
